John Krane earned his Ph.D. in High Energy Physics in 1998, and was an internationally recognized scientist working at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory for eight years. In 2003, he became a Quantitative Financial Analyst, working with market makers and prop traders at Third Millennium Trading. He then founded his own company, Krane Trading and Research, to provide high-quality analyses as a contractor, and to run his own prop trading systems.
